The Spring Fling Triathlon is a reverse sprint triathlon that will be held Sunday April 18th.

Description:
Chip timed Run-Bike-Swim at Rio Rancho Aquatic Center.
Bike course is out-and-back (moderately hilly) and run is a hilly loop course.
The swim is a serpentine swim up/down one lane at a time.
5k run, 30k bike, 400yd swim.

Mail in registration: Use this pdf form and follow the instructions. Mail in registration closes one week before the race, and needs to be postmarked by 4/10.
Online registration closes 6PM the night before the race, 4/17.
No refunds are issued, and no race entry transfers.

Sunday April 18 6AM-7:30AM at race location, Rio Rancho Aquatic Center
You must bring a valid photo-ID to packet pickup. We are sorry but you are not allowed to pick up a race packet for a friend or a family member - each athlete must pick up their own packets, including team members.
If you are a USAT member you must also bring your USAT license to packet pickup. If you cannot show a valid USAT license you will have to purchase a 1-day license for $10. No exceptions made.
Packet pickup for the youth races will also be available at the race location between 11AM-12PM during race day.
Fees:
USAT members
Before 4/1: Individual $46, Teams $109, Juniors $19, Kids $15
After 4/1: Individuals $56, Teams $129, Juniors $29, Kids $15
Non-USAT members
If you are not a USAT member, there will be an additional cost of $10 applied to the above fees. This is the cost of a USAT 1-day license (required). A youth membership (age 17 and under) costs $5 and is valid for 1 year.
The USAT fees do not apply to the kid's triathlon, these fees are covered by TriSportCoaching.
Additional information:
Awards by age division in 5 year increments (medals will be awarded to those in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group) and 1st place to overall Female, Male and Team.
Shirts: All racers receive shirts but you must register by March 1st to guarantee size choice.
Insurance/USAT fee: USAT license or a $10 1-day license required. The 1-day license can be paid at packet pickup, using cash or check (no credit cards accepted).
Parts of the funds from this race will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

High Desert Bicycles Youth Triathlon:
The Youth Triathlon (children 4-7 & 8-12) will be held at 12PM.
Ages 4-7: 440 yd run / 0.5 mile bike / 25 yd swim
Ages 8-12: 1.0 mile run / 3 mile bike / 200 yd swim
Youth Tri entry includes race shirt and USAT Annual Racing License. When entering the shirt size, please not that these are kid's sizes.
